I would take my grand-daughters out for the day, shopping, lunch, more shopping, dinner and more shopping!!
If I had a $1000 I would pay a couple of bills and use the rest for a family vacation to the beach.

First is definitely bills and then I'd buy some new things for the house to replace the broken ones. After that I'd love to get some books

I would cry tears of joy first! Then I would put half towards my emergency fund and the other half towards furniture for my 2 1/2 year old son!

I would probably put it into a high interest fund, to gain some interest and use it to supplement the kids' savings accounts. I might also use some of it to find a nice, but inexpensive, rug for our living room.

I've been unemployed for over a year, so first I'd treat myself to a visit with my daughter, then I'd put it toward paying some bills.
