Book Review-Diana Adores the Puzzled Earl: A Historical Regency Romance-Hannah Hamilton

Well this was a reversal--a male has to ask a female to publish a book he wrote under her name. I mean way back then the Titled gents were not supposed to write travel novels with romance--it just wasn't done! But the Earl of Donnelly had done just that and he really wanted his book published. Even the publisher who liked the book would not publish it saying that it might affect his business adversely. But he had some suggestions and Diana Browning was one of them. She was also a writer of romance. They decided to give it a try.

Diana's family was in trouble and she could use the extra money--she also agreed to marry a young man if he could convince his father to give her father a loan. What a mess!

Diana and Robert, of necessity, had to work together frequently. Robert began to realize he loved Diana--but she was engaged to another man--so he kept his distance in that respect.

There are several other characters that deserve mention--the twins were Diana's friends and non stop fun and games. Robert's sister was not the nicest of people and even Queen Victoria makes an appearance.

Lots goes on and twists that will make your head spin! There is laughter (via the twins) and the elderly spinster ladies (also neighbors of Diana).

Can a Lord of the Realm and the daughter of a university professor and scholar make all this work--and what about them?

Being single and living alone has some problems--so does having a very small kitchen with very little counter space! I have always wanted a blender that I could purchase that would fit on my counter top--and be easy to use. I was hoping that it would be large enough to make a single glass of smoothies or any other blendable concoction I could dream up. Well, I found it!!

I was going through Facebook and noticed an ad for Blendjet One. I bought it and I love it! It really does take fruit and makes it into a juice!

I am so glad I bought this! They have several colors and I picked the yellow--it is now standing on my kitchen counter top waiting for me to make a breakfast drink on the morning.

Book Review-The Devil and Dayna Dalton: (Book 9) A Bulwark Anthology-Brit Lunden

Small towns don't give people a break and Bulwark, Georgia is no exception! Mo matter how she tries she can not rid herself of her Mom's reputation. Not that Dayna is any better truth be told--but she actually wants to be. She has had a major crush on Clay Finnes forever and he still remains just a friend. None of the other men in town can seem to satisfy or make her happy. There are always strange happenings surrounding a slimy pond of water that appears and disappears. She is told by her old babysitter not to go a certain way--of course she does not listen. Some really strange things happen-I can't say anymore without giving away the story!-I will say that the ending will throw you for a loop. I will let you decide if it is a happy ending or not.
